Gammonade Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-28
Gammonade is built to respect your privacy. The summary: we don’t collect anything ourselves. The only data that leaves your device is what Game Center handles when you choose to play multiplayer.
What we collect
Nothing. Gammonade does not run analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs. The app does not contact any server we operate.
What Game Center handles
When you play a turn-based match against another person, Apple’s Game Center service (not us) processes:
- Your Game Center display name and player ID
- The state of the match (board position, dice rolls, turn metadata) so the next player can see it on their device
- Turn-completion notifications
This data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy and the Game Center settings on your device. Sign-in is optional — the AI mode and pass-and-play do not require Game Center.
What stays on your device
The app keeps a local file (ledger.json inside the app’s sandbox) with:
- Rivals you create (display names, optional Game Center associations)
- Completed match outcomes (scores, winner)
- In-progress matches you can resume
This file never leaves your device. It is removed when you uninstall the app.
Children
Gammonade is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
Tracking
We do not track you. The app declares no User Tracking purpose, requests no IDFA, and uses no third-party tracking SDKs.
In-app purchases and ads
There are none.
