Gammonade Support
What it is
Gammonade is a backgammon game for iPhone. Three ways to play:
- Practice vs AI — three difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard).
- Pass-and-play — local match against a friend on the same device.
- Game Center — turn-based asynchronous matches with anyone signed into Game Center.
The app tracks ongoing rivalries with full match history.
Requirements
- iPhone running iOS 17 or later
- Game Center sign-in (only required for online multiplayer)
How to start a match
- Open the app — you’ll land on the rivalries screen.
- Tap + AI Rival to play offline, or + Game Center Rival to invite someone.
- Pick a match length (number of points to win).
- Take turns rolling and moving until one player wins.
Reporting a bug
Two options:
- Email: to be filled in by the developer before launch
- GitHub Issues: bjabes/shesh-besh/issues — include device model, iOS version, and steps to reproduce.
If a Game Center match gets stuck, taking your turn from any signed-in device usually unblocks it.
Privacy
See the Privacy policy. Short version: we collect nothing; Game Center handles online match data.
Known limitations
- iPhone only — no iPad layout yet.
- Portrait orientation only.
- No achievements or leaderboards.
- No iCloud sync; rivals and history live on the device they were created on.
